Going into education and will be student teaching. Looking forward to my first year but curious what advice people would give themselves. Also trying to fill in content gaps and any advice with that would be great.
History teacher here. Find ways to relate it to their lives, even if you're not the most interested in a particular topic pretend. Show video clips so they can visualize the era and don't forget that a lot of what you'll talk about is completely brand new to them. Check out crash course history on you tube.
