Mainly I'm curious about their rank and role in their respective armies. I'm noticing the German soldier doesn't have a helmet. Does that mean he's part of a tank crew? I'm doing a project and just trying to find more information about these people. Any info would be wonderful! Thank you :)
A reverse image search in Google attributes the photo to Robert Capa and only says "BELGIUM. Near Bastogne. December 23rd-26th, 1944. A US soldier with a German prisoner of war during the Battle of the Bulge"
