As best as I can tell none of these photos are actually of Palmyra. They're of Baalbek, Lebanon (labelled as Syria in the photo captions,) as well as several of Luxor, Egypt. Some of the ones on the right side of the collection may be from Palmyra, it's difficult to tell.

What would you like to know about these sites? I'm by no means an expert in the ancient city of Heliopolis (Baalbek) but I have been there. Some of the most impressive ruins I've ever seen, and happily not destroyed like large portions of Palmyra were, though the town is basically under Hezbollah control and its a bit hairy to go there (although the lack of other tourists is a valuable side-benefit.)
