I enjoy history and historical fiction and would like to read more books related to the civil war, but literally everything I've picked up or started watching (in the case of movies) is positively soaked in Lost Cause Mythology, for which I have a very low tolerance, any suggestions on civil war media that completely awash in Lost Cause Mythology?

As far as a popular history of the war that's fairly anti-Lost Cause, James McPherson's Battle Cry of Freedom has become a go-to and a nice counterbalance to something like Shelby Foote. It's large (I think about 1000 pages) but reads quickly.
