The Romans stored their clothes much the same as we do. Furniture found in Pompeii, is what you might expect in a house. They had dressers, and wardrobes. Perhaps a a trunk for longer term storage. Depending on the wealth of the Romans in question, they might not have have many clothes to begin with.
