The red ribbon with the white stripes is the good conduct ribbon.

The bronze oak leaf and bronze stars both indicate that the ribbon was earned an additional time.

The badge with the red trim, blue background, and white plane and parachute is his cap badge. The eagle badge was his shoulder insignia.

I'm not 100% certain about the white and green parachute badge, but it looks like a garrison cap badge.
