Why do a lot of pictures of brodie helmet toting Americans, British, etc. tilt thier helmets to the side? Was there a purpose or was it a goofy thing soldiers would do?
They did this, so that the helmet wasnt in the way when aiming their gun. They did also wear them tilted backwards, so it would be in an ideal position to cover them when they ducked.
