most of the jews on the channel islands were evacuated before the germans took them. did the British government have any plans for wider scale evacuations if it ever looked like the Nazis were unavoidable going to take more british land?
Just to clarify, the Channel Islands are not British land. We are Crown Dependencies, not British/UK dependencies/territories. It's complicated, but the land is not part of the UK.
