So its common knowledge that Adolf Hitler was responsible for the deaths of millions through his policies and war. But is there any evidence that he ever actually personally killed someone? Whether in his early years, during his time as a runner in the first world war, interwar period, or command from 1933-1945?
There was a really good thread on that a year back! According to the extensive top answer from /u/124876720, not that we know of - it's possible (and there were conspiracy theories about his killing his niece), but there's no evidence for it.
Although there are dubious instances that may point to Adolf Hitler personally killing individuals such as the case of his niece, Geli Raubal, who was killed by his gun with evidence alluding to suicide and the curious case of the mutual suicide with Eva Braun on the day of his own death (it is still unconfirmed what happened in the bunker). Since both of these cases are still up in the air, we can conclude there is not enough evidence to suggest Hitler actually killed people himself and definitely preferred others to do his dirty work, even to carry out personal hits on people who questioned him such as Ernst Rohm on the Night of The Long Knives.
On the other hand, one could make an argument that by implementing The Final Solution, Hitler was personally, although indirectly, responsible for the death of millions, as you correctly suggest in your post. As an interesting tidbit, Hitler's experiences in WW1 completely shaped his attitudes towards killing as he saw the horror of chemical warfare and mustard gas attacks and never pursued it as a strategy in WW2. Had this been done, Hitler's already staggering kill count may have been even greater.
