We hear a lot about the diseases Europeans introduced to native Americans when they began to colonize the continent, but wouldn't there be diseases that native Americans spread to Europeans as well?

I've heard the theory that syphilis was brought to Europe from the colonies, but were there any confirmed major foreign diseases introduced to the Europeans from native Americans?
