Black Against Empire is an extremely thorough, comprehensive, and well-researched book that covers the Black Panther Party.

I am not entirely sure what you mean by "objective," but the book neither demonizes them nor puts them on a pedestal. The role of law enforcement agencies, particularly the FBI, in their downfall is emphasized. But, like every other part of the book, all of their assertions are meticulously backed up.
