I would suggest finding a period Sears Roebuck catalogue. Sears Roebuck was the Amazon of its day, and sold everything from clothing to medicines to firearms by mail-order.

This is something that should be simple but incredibly difficult. Store records and sales logs are one of the more common preserved records in local historical society archives. Long-operating stores usually kept records of what they bought or sold, but afaik, there's no central database of these. You'd have to do a lot of footwork to dig through primary sources and construct a database.
