In an imaginary court, I have to convince the judge that Christopher Columbus is responsible for initiating the Columbian Exchange, resulting in the enslavement of millions of Africans. I have to give witness as an African slave. I am stuck as I can find no log of how African slaves were mistreated.

Hi, just to clarify: What you're asking for here is primary evidence of how African (or indeed, indigenous American?) slaves were mistreated under Spanish rule?
