This photo is of a young British (Merseyside) man, who is related to my partner. We are not entirely sure of who he is, but we believe it is my partners' grandfathers' brother. By determining the uniform and the era, my partner and I will be able to confirm the relation. This is the photo. Any help will be appreciated.
