Hello, i'm working on an essay about how people are sometimes willing to give up personal freedoms in exchange for security during times of terrorist activity, similar to what happened in the U.S. post 911. I'm specifically writing about the German Autumn period which involved activity from the left wing terrorist group the Red Army Faction. If anyone has any information on if the states response to terrorism violated any German constitutional rights or that the German people traded some of their freedoms for security I would greatly appreciate it.
