AskHistorians, I'd like to learn more about 1700s to modern-day Latin American History, but my library does not have any of the resources from the subreddit sidebar. What alternate resources could I use to learn about this time and area in history?

This is Librarian-me responding rather than Historian-me (I have degrees in both).

Have you talked to the local librarians regarding inter-library loan (ILL)? It can take longer for your book to come in, but if your library participates you have access to pretty much an unlimited number of books.
