There were plenty of Jews in Europe with blond hair and blue eyes, and plenty of non-Jewish Germans with dark hair and dark eyes. It was purely an ethnic hatred, not one based on individual physical characteristics. "Blond-haired, blue-eyed German" was simply an oversimplification of the "Aryan ideal".

If he would have done so, he would have had serious issues looking in the mirror. Ironically, the majority of NS leading figures like Himmler, Göring or Goebbels were everything but representing the proclaimed aesthetic ideal. Ernst Röhm, an important figure of early NS an then leader of the SA was known to be homosexual. The only no-go was being jewish.
