I wanna know if anyone in here has any historical opinion on the evidence of the descendants of the ancient Hebrews being black and becoming what is now known today as African Americans and most of the native brown/Hispanic race of the Western Hemisphere.
20 Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded[a] to plant a vineyard. 21 When he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and lay uncovered inside his tent. 22 Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father naked and told his two brothers outside. 23 But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it across their shoulders; then they walked in backward and covered their father’s naked body. Their faces were turned the other way so that they would not see their father naked.
24 When Noah awoke from his wine and found out what his youngest son had done to him, 25 he said,
“Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers.” 26 He also said, “Praise be to the Lord, the God of Shem! May Canaan be the slave of Shem. 27 May God extend Japheth’s[b] territory; may Japheth live in the tents of Shem, and may Canaan be the slave of Japheth.”
The "Curse of Ham" was misinterpreted by many people over many centuries as providing an origin for all black Africans, and was at time used as a justification for black slavery. This was extended in the 19th century with colonial perspectives and scientific racism in anthropology to downplay the culture and achievements of the native ("Negroid") peoples by attributing them to an invading Caucasian race, the Hamites. One of the more accessible articles on this (although a bit old) is The Hamitic Hypothesis; its origin and functions in time perspective [PDF] by Edith R. Sanders (1969).
Which is a long way to say: the idea that black Africans are a descendant of ancient Jewish peoples is an historical fallacy with rather deep roots but no basis in genetics or archaeology. That is not to say that there aren't black people in Africa who are culturally or ethnically Jewish - there totally are; perhaps the most famous group being Beta Israel, or Ethiopian Jews, who are simply Jewish peoples that lived in the former Ethiopian Empire.
