What was the US's trade policy with Poland before/during/after WWII? I ask because I inherited these vintage ornaments (look like 1940s) from my grandmother. The box says they were made in Poland. Could these have been manufactured before the War? (Imgur link in comments)
I doubt they're that old, my mum had a very similar set (I definitely recognize the pattern on the middle one in bottom row) and she got them in early 80s.
