What makes the High Middle Ages "High"? Or is the name only used because "Middle Middle Ages" sounds weird?

The idea is that this was the "high point" of medieval civilization. The economy was flourishing, education was becoming more widespread of education, agricultural revolution was in full spring, the social order of the region had stabilized.

Central Middle Ages is gaining more traction though.
