A distant relative sent me this picture of my Grandpa with what appears to be Eisenhower. Timeframe would be during the 1950's. There are multiple connections to Eisenhower in my family history that are documented well but this picture is unlabeled and undated and some people are skeptical. I need some forensic help!
It might be worth physically taking the photograph to someone a genealogist and get some more in depth research done, if you haven't, as well.
Here are some pics of Eisenhower in profile. The ear in your pic seems different from Eisenhower's (and looks like a closed lobe), but lighting can change how an ear looks significantly. Ike was also more jowly. I'd say it's not Eisenhower but definitely not sure.
Edit: it looks more like Eisenhower the more I look at it. If you just compare these two, from probably about the same age, it definitely looks like him. Although the first picture here is from the '60s, so if OP's pic is actually from 1949, it's not Ike.
How tall was your grandpa? Eisenhower was 5'10".
