I am curious to see what types of questions Gallup asked U.S. citizens in the late 1930s and early 1940s. What the answers are doesn't really matter to me. How would I go about accessing such information?
When I was looking for survey data from that era on support for entry into World War II, I used Public Opinion Quarterly. I cannot recall if they included Gallup's polls in particular, but they seemed pretty comprehensive for that time period.
