Everyone seems to think that what happened with the rise of Hitler and the eventual Holocaust could never happen in many developed western countries, but as a Muslim living in the US under Trump, I fear that it could be a possibility. I am wondering if the same idea seemed so far-fetched in the beginning of Hitler's rule and when Jews and other groups started to come under real danger?
