What are some good resources for the cultural anthropology of the Algonquin (esp Abenaki) Native Americans?

My wife is part (a small part) Abenaki, and would like to know more about the art of that tribe. What are some good resources - books, museums, websites, etc? There's a ton of stuff for the more Western tribes, but much less for those of the North-east.

I can only comment on a potential museum that you might be interested in contacting.

When I was a park ranger up at Acadia National Park, I occasionally assisted with programming that was a partnership between the park and the Abbe Museum. I always found them to be quite knowledgeable, professional, and their exhibits are top notch. They are a museum that focuses on Wabanaki history, culture, and artists.

They have a number of exhibits regarding Wabanaki artists (which I understand includes the Abenaki). They might not have a ton of information online, but they are an excellent resource if you are ever in the area.

You might consider contacting the Abenaqui community of Wolinak (https://caodanak.com/). They also have a museum (http://museedesabenakis.ca/data/) where you might also find contacts to pursue your exploration.
