May I ask, did you pick him randomly as a Czech noble of the era or are you interested in Slavata's point of view, because he was writing his 14-volume Historical Writings (Historická Spisování) at the time and thus would be reflecting about the conflicts around 1618 (his first two books are about that time), as a historian?
