How are street names like that named?
For instance, in the Book Thief, it's Schiller Strasse instead of Schillerstrasse. Is this correct?
I don't know the book you're talking about or what exactly your question is, but I'm German and, from a 20th century grammatical standpoint, "Schiller Strasse" is wrong.
