• George Hatem/Ma Haida - a Lebanese - American doctor who went to China to help fight venereal disease who ended up being a physician to CCP troops

• Otto Braun - German Comintern agent and Manfred Stern - Soviet Comintern Agent. Military advisors to the CCP.
