an individual in the following /r/historyporn sub claims that there was widespread rape of female Soviet soldiers by German soldiers. and the frequently they were killed shortly there after. Additionally they claim that German commanders were encouraged to look the other way.
it's fairly well known that the German army on the eastern front committed many war crimes against captured soviet soldiers. murder, torture, and being sent to concentration or forced labor camps were common. However the claims of rape of female Soviet soldiers is....odd to me. I'm not saying it never happened, but it seems to fly in the face of the racial purity laws and goals the Nazi's believed in.
