My grandmother has a box filled with Native American Arrowheads she found down by a creek when she was a little girl. She kept them safe and covered them by storing them in a box, stuffed away in her closet. She loves looking at them and has researched all about the what tribe they might have been but what she wants is some one to authenticate their legitimacy, hell she even has newspaper clippings from the 1990's talking about which tribe they come from, so I thought for her birthday it would be nice to get them authenticated. How and where can I go to do this?
I would recommend taking them to either a local tribe's archivist or your area's historical society. Typically, these places will have people who can verify and authenticate these arrowheads.
