Hello!
I'm researching for a paper and was wondering if anyone could recommend me any primary material to help with my research. I am only just starting but have seen some RAF combat reports and other air ministry documents as well. If anyone knows of key primary archived material that can help in understanding the battle that would be appreciated.
If they're free that would be great as digital copies of the National archive can be quite expensive but I'm open to anything.
Thanks!
I'm not sure there's much out there in the way of freely available primary sources, but the Imperial War Museum have [hundreds of interviews] (http://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/search?query=&f[0]=eventString%3A17/5%28141%29.2&items_per_page=50) covering pilots, plotters, controllers, civilians etc., usually with reasonable text summaries.
