How accurate is the book "1421: The Year China Discovered the World" by Gavin Menzies

by JOSHUA4230

The claims made in the book, such as China amassing fleets hundreds of junks strong. It provides evidence such as stones with carvings, Chinese genes in natives (interbreeding) and various artifacts such as porcelain to show how China had arrived in Australia, North and Central America and Antarctica long before any other nation.

However many reviews say that the book is full of nonsense and is not possible. I would like to know how much of the book is true, and if not, how are the arguments in the book countered by experts.
