Yes, in addition to the standard medals, the Red Army had monetary awards given to soldiers who destroyed a German tank. These awards predate the Battle of Kursk. Stalin's order to create a special distinction between regular and anti-tank artillery also introduced a reward: 500 rubles to the commander and gunner, 200 rubles each to the rest of the gun crew. The same payout applied to tank crews.
