If someone had cancer in the Middle Ages, what would they have been diagnosed with by a doctor of that period?

Cancer was certainly known to pre-modern physicians, who even tried to cure through surgical excision. Whether a medieval physician would have been able to actually diagnose it, however, would depend on the specific symptoms and anatomy of the tumor. Fungating superficial cancers, easy. Pancreatic cancer, much tougher as symptoms would be quite vague (fatigue, weight loss, jaundice)
