In the Caucasus region between late October and early November what were German soldiers wearing, and was the village of Gizel evacuated before the Germans finally arrived to it. Also can I get tank variants and German plane variants as well as divisons that partook in the offensive in Gizel. I know the 13th and 23rd Panzer division participated. And what Soviet vehicles/ tanks/ divisions were defending the village?
As a part of the Nalchik-Ordzhonikidze Defensive Operation (October 25th-November 12th), the 10th Guards Rifle Corps of the 9th Army was tasked with striking the Germans at Gizel from the north while the 11th Guards Rifle Corps cut off their retreat. The 10th Corps was supported by the 15th Tank Brigade.

Map of the 15th TBr attack on the village Gizel is in the lower right. According to the brigade's documents, "the brigade played an active role in destroying the enemy's 13th Tank Division and preventing the capture of the city of Ordzhonikidze by fascist bands."
