German Ring - Nsfw (just in case)

My buddies mom came across this ring some 20 years ago and she would like to know any information anyone may have on it. I thought maybe you guys on reddit might have an idea?

Well there are two options here. Either, and sadly most likely, you're looking at replica. Well, not even a replica really but a toy for people who like to dress up as Nazis. I guess it's meant to be an "SS ring" but there was only one kind of real SS rings that I've ever seen and that's the SS Ehrenring, they were given out as a personal award by Himmler himself and looked nothing like this.

The other, and vastly less likely option, is that this is an "unofficial" Ehrenring from WW2. They were quite popular for a spell and some SS members had their own rings made. If it is it's a little cooler. The best way to tell would be to take it to a jeweler but from these pictures alone I can tell you that this ring is almost certainly not from WW2, if it is it has to have been locked up somewhere and almost never worn. The wear is almost non-existant.

EDIT: The ring has the SS motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue" on it but the font is wrong and the text uneven as if made in a cheap mold. On second thought, a lot of things here look made in a cheap, almost amateurish mold. This could also just be someone who made this at home.
