I've read several American accounts of what they saw, but nothing from the Soviet side
A follow up question. Was refeeding syndrome, feeding starvation victims too quicky and/or with the wrong food, more prevalent in camps liberated by the Russians or ones liberated by the western allies? I am thinking that British and American army food may have been richer or different from Russian food and maybe Russian troops may have had more experience with starvation victims from prior experiences.
