Freedom of religion / No state religion
Freedom of speech / expression
Freedom of the press
Freedom to peacefully assemble
Freedom to petition the government for a redress of grievances
What do these things have to do with each other? Were they grouped into one amendment for mutual protection (so you can't remove one without removing all off them at once), or because they're all part of some underlying theme, or for some other reason?
