From time to time, I hear criticisms of large movements not being organized well enough or having clear objectives. An example was the Occupy movement which drew large numbers of people but was said not to have clear enough goals. With so many protests and rallies occurring right now, many are referring to the Boston Tea Party as a precedence. I was wondering how it compared in organization and political impact. Was there a clear voice for either independence or reduced tea tax/East India tax break or many smaller opinions? Thank you in advance!
Hi there -- your submission is fine here, but I wanted to drop in a note to let people know that, as always, we do not allow discussion of modern politics on this subreddit. So folks who are thinking about responding, you can compare and contrast up to 1997, but no further.
Thanks!
