So one book I have that might be something you're looking for is Dream Travelers: Sleep Experiences and Culture in the Western Pacific. The book is a series of essays on how the beliefs of various groups when it comes to sleeping and dreaming and includes groups over a large area with the majority of groups studied being from New Guinea and Northern Australia, but there might be enough that it would be something that you'd be interested in
