You'll have to be more specific. Which Crusades do you refer to? They all had different impacts for different reasons. For example, the First Crusade helped the Byzantines reconquer Asia Minor and took territory from both the Seljuks and the Fatimids, the Second Crusade accomplished nothing of note, while the Fourth conquered Constantinople.
