What is the difference in "Gloria" and "Gloriana" as it pertains to the royal family?

by ausbon

I recently started watching Victoria, a Masterpiece show. The opening theme is hypnotizing and I love choir music of that sort. The very first word is "Gloriana." I feel as though I've heard the origin of this word as it pertains to a Queen, possibly Victoria, but for the life of me I cannot figure out where I saw or heard this. Is there any history here or am I mistaken?

Gloriana is a now-literary epithet referring to Elizabeth I.
