The odds seem likely that he did suffer from Alzheimers during his presidency. I asked the very same question to Malcolm Byrne (what are the odds he still checks it, u/Malcolm_Byrne) during an AMA, and he responded that he thought it was likely, although the evidence for this diagnosis specifically is insufficient, primarily because those in the know have not come forward with such explicit information.
