Looking for a book about a man who changed the world...

by TheSasquatchKing

So, long story short... I'm going through a break up of epic proportions. And from experience, one of the ways I'm able to cope with shit in my life is by comparing my meager, pathetic, insular life, with great people of history. Which puts my problems into perspective in the grand tapestry of life.

Anyone from Napoleon to Lincoln, to Caesar or Alexander the Great? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

(Strange question I know!)

I enjoyed the book Team of Rivals. It took me slightly under 50 hours reading time, I believe, and goes in depth on a number of individuals who are relevant to modern discussions, though not well understood.
