We should note that Washington died a bit before Napoleon became, well, Napoleon. While an ascendent star by 1799 he was not quite yet the true Corsican Tyrant or luminary leader history has left us.
Certainly his performance at Toulon, defending the Committee, and in Italy were stellar. But in mid 1799 he was forced to flee Egypt after his expedition frankly turned into a boondoggle. But he would involve himself in the Coup if 18 Brumiare in early November. Given time constraints it's possible that Washington would have heard about it and Napoleon becoming First Consul. But that's about it as he would the pass 6 weeks later in mid December.
