So I've found a lot of maps drawn by the British (among others from western Europe) from (mainly) the nineteenth century. That claims the existence of a country that didn't exists (from my understanding). I find it hard to believe that Europeans had no idea about the political borders at that time. I am talking about maps like the ones here: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 . Why would such thing occur? What did they think of the region? Did the neighboring countries even have any control over Baluchistan?
So a quick Google search shows me it was a former British territory and not a province of Pakistan.
