TL;DR: What're your favorite books on WWII and/or military history?
Hello!
I'm finally finishing up my BA in history and I'm thinking ahead to grad school. I'm considering specializing in WWII or military history and I would love to read your favorite/recommended books on the subjects. If you have time, I'd especially love to hear from anyone who's a history professor and your experience in the field as that's currently my end-goal.
Thank you!
Welcome to the wonderful world of academic military history!
The big question is: What are you interested in within those topics? WWII in itself is a huge topic. Military history itself is also a huge topic. Is there a specific aspect of WWII that you're interested in? (For example, my main personal interest is the CBI theater in WWII and British colonial soldiers).
