We found this in a bible my great great grandfather carried in WWI, what does this mean?

by affonity

My mom just got some stuff from my great grandma including a WWI uniform, some papers, and this bible my great great grandfather took into battle. In the bible was this paper.

It's in French and I can only really make out the regiment and "prisoner".

Thank you in advance!

The top part is German:

Prisoner of War Soldier Richard Hempel? Regiment No. 193 Company No. 6

The rest is in French but I think it is where he was kept as a prisoner.

Am I allowed to post asking someone to remind me when a few more answers pop up? These answers are just really interesting to me and I don't have a follow up question yet
