The period of the "Sultanate of Women" lasted for about a hundred years, from the mid-sixteenth to mid-seventeenth centuries. I assume you're asking not about the period as a whole, but about whether the role women played in in politics was 'beneficial' - but beneficial in what sense, and to whom?
