So, before I make a fool out of myself, I am going to tell you guys the truth, I know nothing about history, and just recently got interested in reading. My brother said Russia lost the most soldiers in WW2 vs Hitler, so I would like to learn about this specifically, by reading about it in a book.
Thanks a lot.
If this is the wrong subreddit to post this, please let me know, also, let me know where I should post this, thanks again.
Hi there! I'm glad to hear that you want to educate yourself through the best possible way of learning history: by reading.
We have a great list of WWII books that can be found on this link. You seem curious to learn about the Eastern Front, in which case there are many accessible books for beginners (the books by Antony Beevor comes to mind), but I'd recommend that you pick up a more general book at first to get a good grasp of the whole war before getting in-depth about one part.
