My chosen field of study would have to be Scandinavian. Particularly during the Viking age. My interest in it is their culture, fighting techniques, and their arms and armor(armour?).
You seem to be more interested in history than anthropology, anthropology is the study of human societies and is normally focused on contemporary societies that can be experienced firsthand by the researcher.
